Peggy Ann Brooks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Brooks (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lewis and Harriet Lorene Lewis (Moody); her son Taylor Preston Brooks, III; and her brother Raymond Dewaine Foye. She is survived by: her husband Taylor Preston Brooks, Jr.; her children, Todd Randall Brooks of Sumter, SC and Tonya Renee (Brooks); her grandchildren, Dylan Robert Brooks, Jack Andrew Chapa (Sarah Rachelle), Peter Lewis Chapa (Lenna Marie), Reed Cooper Chapa, Peyton LeeAnn (Chapa), Sargent (Danny), Emma Mae Chapa (Faith Antonina Chapa), Ke'Iolani "Lani" Brooks, Mariah Beltran (Ward) and Nicholas Smith; her great grandchildren, Hudson Andrew Chapa, Ryder Jackson Chapa, Daniella Marie Chapa, Audrey Elizabeth Chapa and Elaina Grace Chapa; her half-sisters, Alverda Krofcheck of Pennsylvania, Della Wisser (Al) of Pennsylvania and Peggy Louise Foye of Pennsylvania; and her sister-in-law Linda Marie Foye of Laguna Woods, CA.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
