He is survived by: his husband Lou; his children, Rachel Coughlin (Francis) of Cumming, Georgia, Nathan Merrifield of Woodsfield, Ohio and Nicole Woodby (Tyler) of Lewis Center, Ohio; his stepson Jeffrey Slowek of Nevada; his grandchildren, Riley Sivard, Norah, Isla Coughlin, Korbin, Kahne Merrifield, Wren and Tilly Woodby; his stepgrandson John Slowek; his cousin Denise Hyde (Michael); and his nephew Jason Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
