He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Hayes and Mary Ellen Boykin Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ayer Hayes; his children, Ashley Hayes Davis (Josh), Jamie Hayes of Sumter, Nicholas Holt (Hannah) of Sumter, Jeremy Holt of Sumter and Travis Kelly (Katrina) of Sumter; his grandchildren, River and Jackson; his siblings, Ann Hayes Martin (Donnie) of Elgin, Cathy Hayes Stokes (Paul) of Sumter and Jerry Hayes of Sumter; his pet Shadow; Austin Hayes. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
