She was predeceased by: her father Reverend Bowman Nickens, Sr.; her former husband Elliott King; and her siblings, Lula N. Montgomery, Albertha N. Pinkney, Annie Bell N. Deas, Corine N. Yates Grant, Bowman Nickens, Jr., Reverend George Nickens, Willie Nickens, James Nickens and Benjamin Nickens.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Nickens and Lydell Nickens of Sumter; her granddaughter Alyssa Nickens; her great grandchild Jackson Reese of Demopolis, Alabama; her sister Josephine Parker of Sumter; and her sisters-in-law, Geneva Nickens of Camden and Edith Nickens of Rembert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID-19 guideline, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 4320 Prairie Road, Rembert.
