With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca D. Anderson (Sumter, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. C. Dargan and Ella Mae Dargan; her siblings, Robert L. Dargan, James L. Dargan of Henry Dargan, J. C., Ernest Dargan, Phyllis Huggins and Fannie Lee Dargan; her son O'Donnell "Donnie" Fortune; and her granddaughter Karima Dargan.

She is survived by : her husband Deacon Garnell Anderson; her children, Eldridge "Tony" Dargan (Vonda) of Lamar, Ingrid McNeely of Douglasville and Summer Whidby (DeAndre) of Fairburn, Georgia; her siblings, Daniel Dargan Sr. of Brooklyn, David Dargan of Brooklyn and Mae Dargan-Willis of Lamar; and her grandchildren, Tony Dargan, Eldridge Dargan Jr., Keaira Dargan, Erick Dargan, Takari Dargan, Isaiah Dargan, Deiziana Dargan, Juwan McNeely, Airiana Dargan Tre'Juan McNeely, Jeremiah Dargan and Deviar Dargan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
