It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Huggins Jr. of Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Andra Paula Truesdale Huggins; his parents, Richard Huggins and Annie L. Wilkie Huggins; and his brother Vernon Huggins. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Galloway (Bruce), Tracy Morgan (Lee), Rick Huggins, Chis Huggins (Tysha) and Dalton Huggins of Sumter; his grandchildren, Todd Herlong, Jr. (Caitlin), Brandon Herlong, Christian Murphy (Jeffrey), Brittany Moore (Brandon), Savannah Morgan (Austin), Tyler Ryles (Catherine), CJ Huggins, Cole Huggins, Lexus Harris and Domonique Coleman; his niece Sherry Jacks; and his close friend Linda Poole. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
