Shields, Jr. and Norma Jean Connell Shields; his children, Zachary Kevin Shields and Taylor Rae Shields of Sumter; his brother Rion Shields (Jessica) of Union, NC; his grandson Benton Hayes Taylor; and his nieces, Katelyn Shields and Lindsey Cochran.
