It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Hancock III (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Hancock and Josephine Rodgers Hancock McCathern; and his siblings, Marvin D. Hancock, Murdick D. Hancock, Fred Hancock, Hallie Brabham, Rhoda Mae Watford, Marie Romine, Grace Dell Hancock, Rebecca Ann Ross, Darby McCathern, Jr. and Thomas R. Hancock.
He is survived by: his children, April Hancock Berube (Michael) of Sumter and Norman A. Hancock (Angel) of Myrtle Beach; and his grandson Alex.
