He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Daniels (Elbert) and Robert Heyward (Quatika) of Greenville; his siblings, Susan Gayle (Charles), Ethel Brand, Edith Vaughn, Harold Heyward (Leticia) of Sumter, Herbert Heyward (Denise) of Sumter and James Heyward of Sumter; his close friend Sheila Boykin; Troy. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
