He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Simmons and Glenda Allen Simmons; his brother James Simmons; and his great-niece Sierra Simmons. He is survived by: his brother Michael Simmons (Lisa); his niece Erica Simmons; his nephew Robert Barwick; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marcus, Mya, Sincere of Tyrell, D. J. and Ani'yah.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150).
