He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fred Parrish and Helen Radke Galloway. He is survived by: his children, Ray Sims, Jr. (Rhonda), Joe Sims (Marie), Sharon Broome (Lou) and Stacy Parrish; his brothers, Charles Parrish, Ricky Parrish and Jimmy Parrish; and his grandchildren, Kelly Norton, Courtney Finotti, Arielle Waldrop (Hunter), Luke Sims (Tori), Josh Sims and Nolan Sims. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
