She was predeceased by: her husband James Porter; and her parents, Roney White and Edna White. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Abrams (Silas); her grandchildren, Elvira Polite (Robert), Quinnsetta Abrams and Joshua James; her great grandchildren, Jervira Hilton, Zanita Davis, Kamira Polite, Robert Polite and Dontrell Polite; her great great grandchildren, Israel and Messian Richburg; her sisters, Martha Ann White, Bertha King of Buffalo, Betsy Keith, Lucile Lacey (James) of Syracuse, Brenda Bry of Durham, N. C., Maggie Green of Sumter and S. C.; and her sister-in-law Joanne Porter (Johnny Gore). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 4740 Cane Savannah Road, Sumter.
