With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Floyd (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Fort Hood, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 60. He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Leroy Floyd; his son David Mangrum; and his brother Don Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Angela Walling Floyd; his mother Irene Stöhr Floyd; his daughter Morgan Floyd Pring (Ryan); his siblings, Jimmy Floyd, Karen Parker (Peter) and Janet Gainey (James); and his grandchildren, Ashton and Elliott Pring. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and his four beloved dogs.
