With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Jean Gelderman (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Darlington, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Gelderman, Sr.; her parents, James C. Wilson and Ola Atkinson Wilson; and her sister Jeanette Eargle. She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Gelderman, Jr. (Deborah) and Brenda Pate (Jeff); her grandchildren, Trey, Taylor, Courtney and Crystal; and her siblings, Jim Wilson (Sarah), Carroll Wilson and Dianne Howard (Morris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
