Ruth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ruth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her husband William David Douglas; and her parents, Neil Archie Hobson and Martha Anderson Hobson Purvis. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandi Green of Hartsville and Jo Ann Dubose of Gilbert; and her sister Jeanette Newsome of Sumter. She is also survived by several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
