He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruthie Mae Brown Major; and his parents, Willie Major and Leila Gary Major.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Job's Mortuary (312 S Main St, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Chapel & Heritage Center (101 S Salem Ave, Sumter, SC 29150).
