He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Alexander Salter, II and Katherine Ottesen Salter; his former wife Ruth Philipp Salter; and his sister Elizabeth Hallaran. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McLeod Salter of Sumter; his children, Stanley A. Salter (Debra) and Laura Salter Summers (Jimmy) of Rock Hill; his stepdaughters, Pamela Johns (Edward), Stacy Winn (Kevin) and Laura Beth Farmer (Tommy); his grandchildren, Sarah Salter, Philipp Summers (Elyse), Rachael DeYoung (Dylan), Jack Summers and Alex Summers; and his great grandchildren, Stanley, C. J., Dawson and Wade.
