It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Ronald Kiesel of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Fort Branch, Indiana, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin A. Kiesel and Lillian Marie Georges Kiesel; and his brothers, Terrance Kiesel and Bradley Kiesel. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Diane Hopkins Kiesel; his children, Leah Smith (Julio Rodriguez) of Alpharetta, GA, Alayna Niehaus (Michael) of Sammamish, WA, Miles Kiesel (Fiona) of Villa Park, IL and Lacey Ross (Ryan) of Boerne, TX; his brother Harvey Kiesel (Sue) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Summer Smith, Hunter Smith, Anya Niehaus, Grant Niehaus, Erin Muller (Josh), Ethan Tucker (Lauren), Lucas Schultz, Lillian Kiesel, Mila Kiesel and Olivia Ross; and his great grandchildren, Julie Mueller, John Mueller and Rhett Tucker.
