He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Ingram Steeb; and his parents, Albert Steeb and Beverly McManama Steeb. He is survived by: his children, Brian Eric Steeb (Heather) of Jefferson, GA, Christa Anglin of Sumter, SC and Sonya Steeb of Sumter, SC; his siblings, Larry Steeb (Joy), Greg Steeb (Vicki), Darryl Steeb (Annette) and Marge Steeb; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Kyle of Matthew, PJ and Hannah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
