He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Revell Lane; his parents, Stuart Dutton Lane and Bessie Fountain Lane; his children, Len Stewart Lane (Debbie) of Stafford, VA, Joe Pitman Lane (Jeanette) of Eldersburg, VA and Linda Beth Lane Townsend (Charles) of Sumter, SC; his sister Bliss Mooneyham; his grandchildren, Douglas Lane Gamlin, Melissa Francis, Michelle Lane, Michael Lane, Maria Cooper, Melissa McIlvaine, Megan Lane and Jessica Lane; and his great grandchildren, Elvin, Stella Rogers, Jimmy and Laura Burgess.
