He is survived by: his wife Monica Dinkins Squires; his sons, Terence Irvin "Champ" Squires, Jr. of Bishopville and Leighton Charles Squires of Alcolu; his brother Thomas H. Squires of Alcolu; and his nephews, Andrew Squires and Patrick Squires. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
