He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Collin Griffin and Leslie Dunlap Griffin; his son T. J. Griffin, Jr.; and his sister Ernestine Frances Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Tami Kim Griffin; his children, Hannah Elizabeth Banks (Bradley), Noah Ryan Griffin, Tonja Griffin Johnson and Hope Renee Wohnig (Randy); his grandchildren, Abram Reece Banks, Hattie Elizabeth Banks, Jonna Lynn Croft and Nikki Marie Bryant; and his siblings, Wayne David Griffin (Debbie), Martha Sue Turner and Phil Richard Griffin (Diane). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
