She was predeceased by: her husband John Amos Geddings, Jr.; her parents, Ernest Avins and Nora Ardis Avins; and her siblings, Marie Griffin, Mary Geddings, Jeannie Gable and Jim Avins.

She is survived by: her sons, Gerald "Jerry" Thomas Geddings and John Alan Geddings (Dianne); her siblings, Denise Mortimer, Ernest Avins (Dale) and Richard "Ricky" Avins (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jackie Sparks (Tony) and Jon Geddings (Toni); her great grandchildren, Tres Gilbreath, Tate Gilbreath (Jordan) and Eli Geddings; her great great grandchild Lincoln Gilbreath; her stepgrandchildren, Casey Morgan (Richard) and Travis McCoy (Jessica); her stepgreat-grandson Cooper McCoy; and her sister-in-law Penny Avins.
