He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus P. Gibbons, Sr. and Joycelyn Pierce Gibbons; and his sister Patsy Geddings. He is survived by: his spouse Terry Lynn Geddings Gibbons; his daughters, Candice "Candi" Elms of Manning, Ashley Tarantini (Vince) of Chesapeake, VA and Crystal Gibbons (Da'Zon Lightsey) of Dalzell; his stepchildren, Neal Welch (Candice) of Sumter, Nathan Welch of Sumter, Craig Welch (Danielle) of Sumter and Liz Daughrity (J. D.) of Sumter; and his siblings, Billy Gibbons (Patricia) of Manning, Linda Shealty and Judy Barker. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
