Toyoko Beane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Toyoko Beane (Sumter, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Toyoko may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her spouse MSgt Glenn Paul Beane. She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Gantt (Roger) of Sumter; and her granddaughters, Michelle Morrow (Brad), Tiffany Wingard and Ashley Collins (Sean). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home (515 Miller Rd, Sumter, SC 29150). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
