He is survived by: his spouse Vonnie Thigpen Koeppel; his children, Jody Wells of Lexington, Charlie Bowden (Cam) of Sumter and Kasey Cerra of Sumter; his grandchildren, Olivia Bowden of Sumter, Bodie Bowden of Sumter, Chloe Wells and Madelyne Wells of Lexington; his brother Nick Koeppel (Gerda); and his nephews, Linus and Raphael.
