It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virgil Guy Harvey of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Norton, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 87, on December 28, 2021. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Welch Harvey; and his daughters, Shirlene Skipper (Arless "Linn" Skipper) of Sumter, Patricia "Patty" Henderson (Neill) of August, GA and Cathleen "Cathy" Kirby (Carroll) of Sumter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
