He is survived by: his children, Jennie Gail Mitchell of Laguna Beach, CA, Mary Margaret McLeod of Sumter and John Charles Mitchell of Sumter; his sisters, Judy Alice Cox of Somerset, KY and Abynelle Smiley of Somerset, KY; and his grandchildren, Heyward McLeod, Sara McLeod, Jerry Lang, Daniel Lang and Chris Lang. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
