He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvin Davis and Frances Hall Davis; and his siblings, Judy Ardis and Arvin M. "Buddy" Davis. He is survived by: his wife Joan Ayers Davis; his stepchildren, Jimmy Blakley (Denise), Darrell Blakley (Wendy) and Crystal Hagins (Robbie); and his sisters, Janett Moye and Deborah Frierson (Eddie Coker). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
