We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2024, at the age of 93, Walter Edgar McGee of Sumter, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker McGee and Sarah Wright McGee; and his siblings, Baker McGee and Jane Hogan. He is survived by: his wife Alyene; his children, Virginia McGee Anthony (Mike) and Walter Edgar McGee, Jr. (Kathryn Bain); and his grandchildren, Helen Anthony, John Anthony (Emily), Joshua McGee and Matthew McGee.
