He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Woods, Sr.; his wife Joanne Woods; his daughter Temieka Marie Woods; his brother Leroy Woods Jr.; and his grandparents, John, Ethel Woods, Maggie Jackson, Pansy and Shepard Jackson.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Woods Johnson of Blythewood; his son Wayne Woods, Jr. (Larry Woods) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Anthony, Nicayah, Zabien, Zabionn, Payton, Paige and Judah; his siblings, James Woods (Cynthia) of Sumter, Olin Woods of Sumter, Francenia Vaughn (Herman) of Sumter, Evelyn Loo (Newton) of Lagrangeville and N. Y.; his sister-in-law Helen Woods; and his close friend Diane Johnson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In accordance with the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at 312 Overlook Drive, Blythewood.
