He was predeceased by: his father Herbert David Childers. He is survived by: his wife Kristen Childers; his mother Tina Mae Welch Childers; his children, Miles Childers of Sumter, Wyatt Childers of Sumter, Caleb Childers of Sumter and Ava Childers of Sumter; and his brother Jonathan "Shane" Childers of Sumter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
