He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawton William Dangerfield, II and Ellese Janelle Bolen Dangerfield; his son Joseph Warner Dangerfield; and his siblings, Lawton William Dangerfield, III and Ellen Janelle Dangerfield Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Carter Dangerfield; his sons, Daniel R. Dangerfield (Belinda) and Matt Dangerfield; and his brothers, David Dangerfield and George Dangerfield (Kathy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren.
