It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Roger Mitchell (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Martin Mitchell and Willie Mae Rumple Mitchell; and his brother Keith Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lynn Tolbert (Will) of Sumter, Rosario Phillips (Ray) of Beaver Creek, OH, Anna Marie Heath (Ben) of Dayton, OH and Roger Dale Mitchell (Tabitha) of Kathleen, GA; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Sara, Sean, Logan and Nathan; his great grandchild Wesley; and his brothers, Barry Mitchell (Patricia) and Jerry Mitchell (Jeweleen).

Memorials may be made to Rice Memorial Baptist Church, 1975 SC-72, Greenwood, SC 29649 or to the Greenwood Filipino American Association.
