He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Claire Stokes and Johnnie Mae Wyndham Stokes; and his brother Bobby A. Stokes. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Loretta Stokes; and his nephews, Bobby A. "Chip" Stokes, Jr. (Lori), James Daniel "Danny" Stokes (Paige) and William H. "Will" Stokes (Shelly). He is also survived by five grand nieces and nephews; and five great grand nieces and nephews.
