He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Curtis Walker and Blanche L. Walker; his siblings, Lavonne Hall, Raenord, Raeford Walker, Elwood Walker, J. W. Talley, Dewey Talley, Helen Hancock, Lucille Simpson and Pat Thompson; and his nephew Lawrence Talley.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Walker; and his children, Greg Walker (Susan) of Winston-Salem, NC, Jeff Walker of Frisco, TX and Kristie Benson (Bill) of Surfside Beach, SC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
