He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh Weaver Cavin and Nellie Marie Wright Cavin; and his wife Catherine Cavin. He is survived by : his children, DeLeith Brooks (Cris Anderson), Sandra Pouncey (Ken), Scott Cavin (Jean) and Wes Cavin (Lee Anne); and his grandchildren, Blaire, Brittany, Joy, Blake of Kyle, JC, Anna, Mac and Morgan. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Don requested memorial gifts be made in his memory to the South Carolina United Methodist Conference, the local United Methodist churches he served, or to a charity of your choice.
