Jack Edwin Duffey Obituary
Jack Edwin Duffey, 65, of Surfside Beach, SC; passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at his home. Jack was born June 28, 1957 in Bridgeport, OH, son of the late Charles Edwin Duffey and Nancy (Smith) Duffey.
He was in the HVAC field.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Paul Duffey; and sisters, Barbara Whitacre Duffey & Geraldine Rice Duffey.
Jack is survived by his wife, Janet Danehart Duffey; son, Billy Jack Duffey; stepson, Chase Lee Thorn; three granddaughters, Maddison Nicole Duffey, Lyla Grace Thorn and Ellee Danehart Thorn; four sisters, Carol Trimmer, Donna Smith, Sandra Ruggles (Jim), and Kathryn Conley (Darrell); and one brother, Charles Duffey. He also will be missed by his two dogs, Dixie and Scooby.
A celebration of life ceremony will be planned in the spring in his hometown, Bridgeport Ohio.
