The family announces the passing of Phyllis Repass of Surfside Beach, South Carolina on October 5, 2026. Phyllis, born on February 5, 1953, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Butts Jr. and Mattie "Madge" Butts; and her parents-in-law, Edna "Sue" Repass and Archie Repass. She is survived by: her husband Jackie Repass of Surfside Beach, SC; her daughters, PJ Murphy (Ed) of Indianapolis, IN and Courtney Martin (Jon) of Crab Orchard, WV; her grandchildren, Mattie Murphy, Georgia Murphy, Joanna Martin, James Martin and Josiah Martin; her sister-in-law Kay Rose; and her close friend Rhonda Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burroughs Funeral Home (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
