We announce the death of Robert Spannuth of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 75. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Spannuth and Lois Spannuth; his former wife Sharon; his granddaughter Harper; and his sister Claudia.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his daughter Chelsea Meiser (Jereme); his stepdaughters, Sara Connor Brown (Josh) and Emily Rawlings (Robert); his grandchildren, Ryder, Hayden, Logan, Molly, Brayden, Kade and Emory; his siblings, Kathy Sullivan (James) and Glenn Spannuth (Joyce); and his stepsiblings, Debbie Phillips Wolfe (Keith) and Jeff Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
