He was predeceased by: his parent Jean Brazell Carter. He is survived by: his father Billy Ray Carter (Christina) of Leitchfield, KY; his wife Rachael of Surfside Beach, SC; his children, Brianna Dale McCarthy (Pat) of Irmo, SC, Lane Carter of Lugoff, SC, Sarah Muniz (Stefan) of Greenwood Lake, NY and Jeffrey Foote of Middletown, NY; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Chance, Sutton, Scout, Sully-Cate and Foster McCarthy; his children, Jacob and Olivia Foote; his granddaughter Sofia Muniz; and his sisters, Allison Carter Immordino (Bob) of Lugoff, SC and Angie Durbin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as a large loving extended family and supportive friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Journey Church of Myrtle Beach (3690 Palmetto Pointe Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588).
