We announce the death of Wanda Lee Ale of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 91. Wanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward Murvin and Lena Alice Pierce Murvin; and her husband Walter W. "Bill" Ale. She is survived by: her sons, William, James and Lawrence; her close friends, William, Nancy, James, Jeanne and Lawrence; her siblings, Helen Green and Thomas "Butch" Murvin Jr.; and her grandchildren, James, Christopher, Jennifer, Timothy, Steven, Danielle, Chelsea, Katelyn and Willa. She is also survived by eight greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
