He was predeceased by: his parents, John Guy Wilhelm and Jeanne Byerly Wilhelm; his siblings, J. Guy Wilhelm, Mary Wilhelm Jordan and Vickie Wilhelm; and his niece Jamie M. Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McConnell Wilhelm of Anderson, SC.; his children, William B. Wilhelm, Jr. (Bo) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Elizabeth Wilhelm Parsons (Christopher) of Surfside Beach, SC.; and his grandchildren, Byerly Wilhelm Spann (Jimbo) of Murrells and Julian Wilhelm (Kinley) of Murrells Inlet, SC..
