It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Steele Neese of Swansea, South Carolina, born in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Webster M. Steele and Lillian Crout Steele; and her siblings, Jewel Steele Derrick, Sylvia Steele and Adam Heyward Steele.

She is survived by : her husband Wilmer R. Neese (Billy); her sons, Jeffrey Neese (Donna) and Kirk Neese (Denice); her grandsons, Matthew L. Neese and Brandon Neese; her stepgrandsons, Hunter Kelly and Coty Kelly (Ema); her stepgreat-grandson Authur Kelly; and her siblings, Coolidge Steele and Grace Harmon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
