He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Meece Burrell; his parents, J. C. "Jake" Burrell and Ethel Mozelle Price Burrell; and his siblings, Vivian Alexander and Henry Burrell.
He is survived by: his sons, Stan Meece (Vickie) and Scott Burrell (Donna). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
