He was predeceased by: his parents, James Crowell and Nannie Lou Burns Bright; his sister Martha Bright Tucker; and his grandson Adam Jared "AJ" Peterson, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, David Bright of Moore, Tony Bright (Andrea) of Salem and Robin Tucker Forrest of Greer; his grandchildren, Selena Forrest Warnke (Ryan), Tajun George, Tristen Bright (Kim), Laiken Johnson (DJ), Kennedy Bright (Colby Thomas), Jewell Beaty (Cole) and Carter Bright; and his great grandchildren, Eliana, Wyatt, Haven Johnson, Emerson Bright and Baby Bright.
