She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Joshua "L. J." Slatton; her former husband Amon Earnest Fowler; her children, Terry Fowler, Tony Fowler, Debra Jones and Marilyn Fowler; and her sister Betty Wooten.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Slatton (Angie) of Blythewood and Russell Slatton (Kathryn) of Pelzer; and her grandchildren, Zachary Fowler, Cody Fowler (Inessa), Marianda Craine (Todd), Rebekah Fowler, Nolan Slatton, Joshua Slatton, Abbie Slatton and Lucas Slatton. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Baptist Church Cemetery (3270 SC-414, Taylors, SC 29687).
