He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Boos of Plymouth, Ind. and Eugene Boos; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Jean Myers Boos of Taylors; his children, Jeremy Boos (Kelli) of Austin, Tex. and Jordana Megonigal (Bryan); his grandchildren, Caedmon, Abigail and Selah of Moore, S. C.; his great grandchild Bethany Boos of Fountain Inn; and his siblings, Greg, Jan (Bean), Randy and Barb (Klapp). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's memory to any of three organizations close to his heart: Miracle Hill Ministries, where he gave years of his life in service to the Overcomers program and the Palmetto Boy's Shelter, Heritage Bible Church's "Next Fifty" fund, and One Happy Ass Farm of Lynn, Indiana, whose prior visit gave him many hours of memories and joy in his final days.
