With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Evans of Taylors, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Baker Evans and Joseph Pickering Evans; and his son Jason Evans. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Whelan Evans; his children, Brian Evans (Pamela) of Sewell, NJ, Peter W. Kilburn (Patricia) of Delafield, WI, Heather Evans of Philadelphia, PA and Megan Kilburn of Portsmouth, NH; his sister Jo-Ann Evans of Aston, PA; his grandchildren, Anita Evans, Charlie Kilburn and Jacob Kilburn; and his friends, Christie of Taylors, Jim Mangelson of Taylors, Stephen of Taylors and Megan Lee of Taylors.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the ALS Association in Gerald's honor.
