She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Suomi; and her sisters, Jolene Sohlden and Marilyn Suomi. She is survived by: her close friend Keith Hannu of Greer; her children, Grant Hannu (Christie) of Rindge and Kia Hannu; her grandchildren, Javon of Taylors, Anaiya of Taylors and Gianna of Taylors; and her siblings, Verna (Bob Maki), Leona York, Teresa (Gary Palosaari), Doreen Suomi, Andrea (Peter Lappi), Loralee Martin, Rod (Hannah) and Randy (Lona). She is also survived by in-laws, countless nieces and nephews.
